Revere Landing Park

Boston, MA

Paul Revere Park, the first of the New Charles River Basin parks, opened to accolades in the summer of 1999. At the center of the park is a large multi-use oval lawn framed by extensive perennial beds. At the Charlestown end of the oval is a simple grass stage for informal performances. A serpentine ramp and stairs, flanking a stone overlook tower, connect the park to the revived City Square. The park also features a fishing pier and playground. Works by artists Susan Gamble, Claire Nivola and Paul Matisse were incorporated into park elements.
