Carr, Lynch and Sandell prepared a master plan for 22 miles of the Tennessee riverfront in Chattanooga in collaboration with a city/county task force. The plan identifies and lays out riverfront parks, trails and related urban development, ranging from single-family housing to cultural and educational institutions and industry. The
Riverpark theme builds on the City's exceptional landscape and rich history to create new riverfront attractions for people of the region and the nation. An extensive public participation process was instrumental in identifying the community's priorities for the first phase of development.
