Carr, Lynch and Sandell developed a design for a 2-acre Children's Museum Garden at the working farm in Natick, Massachusetts. The exhibition program was designed for exterior settings and covered topics such as the seasons, soil erosion, irrigation and the fruits and vegetables produced at the farm. Interactive elements were designed to introduce children to the history and science of farming and the movement of the sun. One area in the garden is dedicated to music with "vegetables" and "fruits" as the instruments children can play.
