Carr, Lynch and Sandell was retained to complete a feasibility study of the 1857 Historic Cohasset Town Hall. During the 1920's the auditorium was relocated to the first floor and the town offices to the second. The study recommended that the original layout be restored, developed a revised layout of town offices, public use spaces, restrooms and included the addition of an elevator. CLS helped the town with the applications for Historic Tax Credits as part of the fund raising efforts for the renovations. The restoration of the auditorium to the second floor will allow the town to rent out the space for events and to more sophisticated theater groups generating revenue for the town.
